Rivers form connections between places and cultures. Highlighting the unifying nature of water, the Millers Falls Arts Bridge invites Chinese artists to create artworks for five sites in the Connecticut River watershed as part of the River’s Song Project. Selected works will be installed temporarily on each site prior to the River’s Song celebration, with documentation of the sites and the works on view in Avenue A storefront windows in Turners Falls during the River’s Song celebration on May 16. In addition, MFAB will be screening a series of video works by Chinese artists related to the themes of rivers and water.
