Project Launch

The MFAB project is out of the gate. We are gaining speed, and preparing for lift-off.

This Thursday, December 18, we will unveil the Millers Falls Arts Bridge project as part of the presentation “How to Apply for International Artist Residencies” at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, organized by independent curator Janet Fong. howtoapply_ULLENS

On Saturday, December 20, we will present the MFAB project at the Power Station of Art in Shanghai. On Sunday, we will present at the Songzhuang Art Museum. I am looking forward sharing this project publicly and hearing people’s reactions.

MFAB is also in the process of registering for nonprofit status as a charitable organization dedicated to cross-cultural arts and education between China and the USA. And we will launch our first major fundraising campaign on Kickstarter on Christmas eve.

Thanks to Alex D., Celia and Nicholas of the Eggplant web-team in Beijing. Thanks to Newton and Xu Mengke. Thanks to all of the great people who have helped me get the MFAB project ready for action. Please fasten your seatbelts and let’s get ready to fly…
